Horror Film Evaluations.

Above is a trailer for the horror film - 'Paranormal Activity'. We like this because it is along the same line of genre of what we want to do: psychological. We like the way that throughout the film it is never revealed who is making the noises or how things are being caused to move or break. We want to have a similar thing to this in our film creating tension for the audience as to who's doing all the disturbing, we also like the way it is filmed through a camera as this is also something we are considering.

Above is the trailer for Saw 1, we also like this because again throughout there is a question over the audiences heads as to who is controlling 'the game', and what is going to happen to the people. We also like that in this there isn't much music in this film, we feel that silence works a lot better in horror films because it makes it much more on edge for an audience member which is a good achievement to have in a horror film.
